We are a group of passionate people who believe the purchasing power of 'conscious consumers' can transform the way business operate and create positive change in our world. Building an engaging, functional and beautiful platform is what gets us out of bed each morning. Measuring and sharing the positive impact our CoGo community is having on critical issues comes a pretty close second.

Our global team is based in London (UK) and Wellington (NZ). Here they are:

 

Ben Gleisner,  CEO & Co-Founder  📍London  Ben co-founded CoGo while working at the New Zealand Treasury, where he led the development of the Living Standards Framework. An economist, environmentalist and social entrepreneur, his vision is a world where consumers and businesses work together for the good of people and the planet. Ben has recently moved to London with his wife and two children.  “I firmly believe there are millions of people that want to do their part to create a better future. CoGo will be the platform that makes that easy and helps people see the difference they are making. Let’s CoGo!”

Yossi Goldsmith,  Managing Director  📍London  Yossi’s commercial background of strategy, business development, and marketing make her the perfect partner for Ben in proving our product in the UK market. Yossi was attracted to this role by the sheer ambition of CoGo’s mission.  “If we get this right, we could be the most impactful business in the world.”

Darren Ball , CPO  📍London  Darren is our interim Chief Product Officer, responsible for developing our MVP into a compelling value proposition for UK businesses and consumers. He has been working in mobile product roles since 2013, with a focus on market research, market strategy, product strategy and MVP product development.  “Technology should be about making a positive difference at scale and that's why I love CoGo!"

Darren is our interim Chief Product Officer, responsible for developing our MVP into a compelling value proposition for UK businesses and consumers. He has been working in mobile product roles since 2013, with a focus on market research, market strategy, product strategy and MVP product development.

Sam Gleisner,  Product Manager  📍Wellington  As Product Manager, Sam works with the team to understand and define what our consumer and business members need. Prior to joining the CoGo team, Sam was a Senior Business Analyst in central government, and has held roles in central government administration, and executive search.

Julian Gommans,  Frontend Developer  📍Wellington  Julian is an intermediate-senior front end developer with some experience working in backends. He has worked with several small businesses and startups in his career and developed in a wide range of coding languages, focusing on javascript throughout. He has a passion for improving environmental conditions, equality and rationality wherever he can.

Alan Duval,  Accreditation and Operations Manager  📍London  Alan has worked in numerous roles, from call centre team leader to systems/database administrator.. Serge van Dam,  Chairman of the Board  📍Wellington  Serge is an active investor and director of various globally-minded start ups, with a focus on financial services. He has spent the previous decade as a thought leader in digital banking and payments, particularly M-Com - the world's leading mobile banking platform - which was acquired by NASDAQ-listed Fiserv. Originally an organisational psychologist, Serge is passionate about marketing, and he has a deep interest in technologies and business models that disrupt traditional industries. Mike de Lange,  Director  📍Wellington  Mike is the founder of Seize, a specialty food business based in Wellington. Mike de Lange, Director

Mike is the founder of Seize, a specialty food business based in Wellington. He has previously worked in marketing roles growing brands in FMCG and as a Finance Analyst in a Private Equity owned firm. He is passionate about building businesses from the ground up, taking a technology-driven approach to products, design-led strategies, and building long term community value. Mike has been on the Board of CoGo since 2016 as a nominated director of CoGo's largest shareholder, the charity 42collective.
